19 February 2001 On Monday February 19, the Czech P.M. Milos Zeman met the 2001 Paris – Dakar Rallye winning crewmembers in his office. In front of the Government administration building and at the presence of his cabinet members he then congratulated to such a heroic achievement of both the crew and the vehicles, and together with the Minister of Industry and Trade Miroslav Gregr he took the advantage to get a short ride in the victory truck. After that, they both assured the present Tatra´s Chairman & CEO Peter A. Urban and all the TATRA fans that the Government negotiates with foreign strategic partners and will not let the TATRA brand-name “fade back from the market”.
