IN MEMORIAM HEINZ DOVITS

28 April 2002 The chairman of the Tatra Freunde International, Heinz Dovits, passed away on Sunday April 28th. He was seriously ill for the last 8 months. Heinz became chairman of the oldest Tatra Club of Western Europe when the atmosphere within the club had been affected by incompetency and lack of enthusiasm. Through his personal skills and drives, he managed to improve the atmosphere, bring back the enthusiasm, and facilitating well appreciated Tatra meetings and improved club quarterlys. His illness has appeared too strong for him however. Our thoughts go to his beloved wife Eva and their children. Dovits will be buried on saturday, May 4th, in Neumarkt/A. A service will he held in the Protestant church at 11.30 am
