TATRA FREUNDE STAND WINS 4th PLACE AT ESSEN

The Tatra Freunde International just missed a podium finish with their T 603B5 in a Nürburgring diadorama. The car was provided by the Hajdusek brothers who race the B5 in classic saloon car races. Their father, Stanislav Hajdusek was one of the team members that raced a similar B5 on the Nürburgring in 1967. At the end of the year 2003, a fairly big investment was made involving a purchase of forty powerful computer workstations and a CAD I-DEAS software upgrade. Now, instead of 25 obsolete computers with a limited number of CAD licenses, the R&D Department can profit from having 40 brand new workstations with all necessary licenses of the I-DEAS system that will help bring the engineering works up to a higher, more powerful level. The engineers have been already fully using the new computers since the middle of this year’s February.
