The Thai Tatra seems to be a Skoda built Tatra. Regarding your question, RHD Tatraplans existed. In Europe they were built for Sweden. Curiously, the London Czech embassy used LHD Tatraplans. I have seen and photographed several RHD Tatraplans.
The Thai Tatraplan could have been used by he CS emabassy over there or might have been privately imported.
What interests me is is the engine. Is there a Tatra engine in rhe back or a Japanese engine as earleier witnesses mentioned?

I was in contact with the museum in Bangkok recently and they are trying to find some more information regarding it - particularly in relation to it being right hand drive.
