Report from rally organiser Andrew Bone:

I am hoping that members will be keen to attend a Dorset (Dorsal?) Rally in the Spring, to be based in Weymouth. Having made enquiries, there are numerous accommodation options, including an excellent 3 Star Hotel and a highly rated Guest House. I envisage that evening meals will be taken in the same 3 star hotel, which has large facilities.

Ideas for the route include the spectacular coast road through Abbotsbury to West Bay Harbour at Bridport; visits to the Haynes Motor Museum and the Swanage Steam Railway, all through stunning scenery. A line up of the cars by Weymouth beach and harbour is planned. More precise details will be available later. In the first instance, please can interested members contact me to express their interest, advise

their preference for accommodation (with numbers in party etc.) and I will make any bookings.

THIS EVENT’S SUCCESS IS VERY DEPENDENT ON ATTENDANCE AND IF WE CAN

STIMULATE ENOUGH EARLY INTEREST, THERE WILL BE MORE CHANCE OF

SATISFYING ACCOMMODATION PREFERENCES. WEYMOUTH IS A SEASIDE RESORT AND THE HOTELS WILL FILL UP!
