DVORAK’s TATRA T815 BASED TRACTOR

Since 1999 Josef Dvorak, a landlord/inventor from Tabor who runs a former Kolchoz farm, has built a series of 6×6 tractor prototypes. The tractors are able to pull wider ploughs at higher speed than the present tractors on the market. With a central tube chassis, swing-axles and all round air suspension, their chassis are a mixture of own inventions and Tatra T 815 parts. Dvorak’s third prototype, the PB 400, was tested for years and has a 500 hp LIAZ engine. The front and rear wheels steer equally up to 20kph and only the front axles steers after that speed. What really is special is that is has a standard 10 speed Tatra gear box but with a multiplyer or hydraulic coupler that allows for either manual, semi automatic or full automatic gear change. It’s a wonderful system that allows for no power loss during gear change. The whole concept is Dvorak’s and was patented back in 1998. The whole concept is Dvorak’s and was patented back in 1998. At the moment Dvorak is building a fourth prototype, to be powered by a 400 hp low-emission V8 Tatra Air-Cooled Motor. It will have an all-new body with its styling being done by http://www.spanihel.cz/en/activities-tatra-jamal.htm. Dvorak has signed a letter of co-operation and OEM parts supply with Ron Adams and is planning a small series of 100 units. He than want to sell the project including the patents as he doesn’t want to be involved in long-term production. A production hall for the first series is erected at the moment however. His 6×6 tractor has attracted great enthusiasm, most potential clients seems to come from the Netherlands at the moment. Tatra self is reluctant to take over the project, they are awaiting how the production series will perform and sell. Dvorak project however would benefit from a big name backing his project. Last November, another threat showed up. Fendt, the well known tractor producer, announced a 6×6, their model Trisix. They seem to infringe Dvorak’s patents. It his become a hot patatoe between Dvorak and Ing Honzek from Fendt. The situation is very delicate because the projects look similar. http://www.farma-dvorak.cz/fotoalbum/trinapravove-traktory/pb400 http://www.tvujsvet.cz/video/ebW6lxdpKQs/trinapravovy-traktor-pb400.html http://www.simtractor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7059 http://www.farmvideo.cz/index.php?page=view_video&video=30 http://www.trekkerenwerktuig.nl/nieuws/detail.php?id=490 http://mujboard.i-cz.net/SimTractor/viewtopic.php?p=168&sid=12a21668b1fd9dfda602b8f3551551cd http://agrostranky.blog.cz/0711/fendt-trisix-vario scroll down at http://www.zemedelske.cz/ruzne.htm http://www.landlive.de/boards/thread/1320/?page=14 http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/ag-tractors-machinery/112921-3-axle-fendt-trisix-vario-2.html http://agmachinery.proboards1.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1194119959&page=2
